Share your story

Your stories and experiences help us fight for change. By sharing your story, you'll be adding a powerful voice to the #DumpTheScales campaign and helping us drive the changes we need to end the injustices people with eating disorders face here in the UK.
Who can share their story?
Whether you are a person with lived experience of an ED, a carer, a clinician or a researcher, or you simply care about the cause, we want to hear what you have to say. Whether you have had to fight for the treatment you or your loved one deserves, or you have struggled with unhelpful stereotypes of who gets an eating disorder your voice is welcome here. We would also love to hear from professionals and researchers in the eating disorder field.
How we will use your story
We will always ask for your explicit consent before we share your story anywhere. We will work with you to make sure it is told authentically and safely.
Some of the places we might share your story include:
-
On our website including our blog.
-
With the media in press releases or reactive coverage.
-
On the Dump the Scales social media channels
-
As part of our campaigning work in Parliament.
