Our achievements to date:​

The Dump the Scales petition was launched in 2018. Today it has 125,000 signatures.

We have achieved over 500 pieces of media coverage from a number of local, national and professional titles highlighting the impact of eating disorders and the need for urgent reforms in treatment and research.

In 2019, we published the 'Cost of Eating Disorders in the UK report' as part of the Hearts, Minds and Genes Coalition.

We have hosted 5 photocalls in Parliament, attracting politicians from across the spectrum and stimulating conversations around eating disorders.

We delivered an open letter to Downing Street in May 2023 calling for an end to the postcode treatment lottery.

We hosted the Dump the Scales photo exhibition in Parliament in October 2023.

In 2024, we took over the Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Eating Disorders.

In January 2025 we published our report 'The Right to Health: People with Eating Disorders are Being Failed.'

Since then we have been lobbying the government to commit to a National Eating Disorders Strategy.

We have submitted 5 letters to the Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and Health Secretary to ask for additional funding for services, children's funding cuts and to raise awareness of the neglect in eating disorder services.

We have also hosted 10 evidence sessions with people with lived experience, their families and professionals on preventing deaths in eating disorders and intend to launch our 'Preventing deaths in eating disorders' strategy this Autumn.
